Detoxification

Health through natural nutrition

Detoxification is a natural and on-going process of neutralization and elimination of toxins or contaminants from your body. Though most of us are unaware, there is some form of detoxification happening all the time in our body that is necessary to maintain our everyday tasks from breathing to walking to exercising.

Detoxification or juice fasting is similar to house cleaning. Just like you spring clean your home every few months or so, our bodies need the same type od seasonal cleansing internally.

Detoxification cleanses our bodies of toxins and harmful chemicals that have accumulated over time. It helps to promote the excretion of toxins stored in your lungs, liver, kidneys, bowel and blood.

If not eliminated properly, the toxins will accum
ulate in our major organs, causing malfunction. This leads to hormonal imbalance, dry and blotchy skin, acne proliferation, pimples outbreak, allergies, nutritional deficiency, lethargy and slowing of metabolism. Excess toxins that are not broken down and eliminated are reabsorbed into the blood circulation where it intereferes with nutrient absorption and is the precursor for bacteria, viruses and parasites.

Why Detox?
Detoxification is actually the simplest method of consuming good quality and high amount of nutrition packed with vitamins and minerals in one glass. Eight ounces of carrot juice provides enough carotenoids to equal about one and one-half pounds of carrots. There’s no way that you could sit down and eat that many carrots. Juicing is simple and it is a vital way to quickly get the nutrients into the body. One a glass of fresh vegetable juice has gone into the body; it is quickly absorbed and digested. Fresh juices are full of enzymes. Juices are vegetables that have not been cooked, so they
are filled with all the live nutrients and enzymes the body needs. A raw diet is packed with vitamins and minerals and is life to the body.
